Northern Natural Gas did not extend a System Overrun Limitation notice beyond Tuesday. A bulletin board posting projected that the pipeline’s weighted system temperature was projected to go from 2 degrees above zero Tuesday to 14 degrees Wednesday to 19 degrees Thursday and to 23 degrees Friday. The normal system average at this time of year is 15 degrees, the posting said.

In a switch from several long-running System Overrun Limitations implemented during this past cold winter, Northern Natural Gas said late Thursday afternoon it is issuing a System Underrun Limitation for all market areas (ABC, D and E/F), to become effective Saturday.

Effective Wednesday, Northwest is lifting a customer-specific Declared Overrun Entitlement Period for overtakes that was issued Nov. 4 (see Daily GPI, Nov. 5). Thanking customers for their cooperation, Northwest said its Jackson Prairie Storage account “is returning to adequate winter storage levels and Kemmerer’s north throughput flow is being reduced.”

Referring to its shipper advisory issued Thursday (see Daily GPI, Nov. 4), Northwest announced Monday a customer-specific Declared Overrun Entitlement Period. It applies to “individual customers with markets north of the Kemmerer [WY] Compressor who take more than 10% of their scheduled quantities for the day prior to the day a customer-specific entitlement is imposed.” The entitlements will begin as early as Tuesday (Nov. 5) and continue to apply until further notice, Northwest said. It added that over the last 10 days customers had overscheduled Kemmerer Station by about 260,000 dekatherms.
