El Paso said an Unauthorized Overpull Penalty situation declared Tuesday due to low linepack was being continued Wednesday until further notice. The Washington Ranch storage facility is experiencing maximum withdrawals, the pipeline said.

Texas Eastern (Tetco) said a pressure test of its leaking pipeline segment in the Mississippi River between Missouri and Illinois has revealed a worsening of the leak, and as a result Tetco has blocked in and blown down the segment across the river. Until the pipe is repaired and returned to service, all receipts on the 24-inch system between Longview, TX and the Mississippi River crossing will be restricted on a daily basis. The 24-inch line will remain blocked at the Mississippi River until the new river crossing is completed. The crossing’s current in-service date is estimated to be between July 10 and July 14.

Williams Field Services has scheduled maintenance at Opal Plant for Thursday through next Tuesday, according to a Kern River bulletin board posting. Volume impacts will vary each day depending on where work is taking place at the field compression level but are estimated to be in the 225-260 MMcf/d range.

Sonat said it has completed pipeline integrity work on the 16-inch LRC Interconnect Line and was again accepting nominations at the Sabine and NGPL interconnects. The project previously was expected to end last Monday (see Daily GPI, June 11). An associated force majeure issued June 10 was canceled.
