Transportation Notes

Saying linepack was stabilized, El Paso canceled Thursday an Unauthorized Overpull Penalty situation that had been implemented Tuesday.

Pacific Gas & Electric did not extend a customer-specific OFO beyond Thursday.

Due to weather conditions, Tennessee postponed offshore valve maintenance that had been scheduled for Monday and Tuesday of this week until next Monday. The work will impact the Vermilion 200 and Vermilion 203 meters.

Due to maintenance, the Holy Trinity Compressor Station in eastern Alabama is expected to be out of service until Oct. 20, Sonat said. Based on forecasts of low temperatures and projected system demand, Sonat thinks it unlikely that any interruptible transportation (B1 or IT) will be scheduled on its South Georgia facilities beginning with Monday's gas day. Also, it is highly likely that an OFO Type 22 will be required on the South Georgia section by Monday, the pipeline added. If an OFO is needed, the call will be made Saturday.

During hydrostatic testing of Columbia Gas Transmission's Line 1804 starting Monday, zero non-firm capacity will be available in Market Area 20 in Operating Area 2 and in Market Areas 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 29 in Operating Area 4. The testing is expected to continue through Oct. 20.
