El Paso canceled an Unauthorized Overpull Penalty situation, which had been declared Tuesday, effective with Cycle 3 nominations Friday. The pipeline also reported taking Roswell (NM) Station’s #3 compressor down to replace a turbocharger and to perform mechanical inspections. The action reduced capacity of the San Juan Crossover by 20 MMcf/d from a base capacity of 650 MMcf/d Friday. The constraint is expected to continue through Tuesday.

ExxonMobil Corp. expects worldwide natural gas demand growth between now and 2030 to be about 2.2% a year, the fastest among the major fuels. And as demand grows, the gas markets will globalize, the company’s president said Wednesday.

Southern California Gas declared a high-linepack OFO for the Timely Cycle of Saturday’s gas day. The tolerance for positive daily imbalances was 10%.

Southern California Gas declared an OFO for Friday’s Evening Cycle due to high linepack. Customers must ensure that all deliveries into the SoCalGas system are within 110% of expected usage. The giant LDC will assess Buy-Back charges to those customers who overdeliver.
