Southern California Gas declared a high-linepack OFO for the Timely Cycle of Saturday’s gas day. The tolerance for positive daily imbalances was 10%.

Florida Gas Transmission ended Friday an Overage Alert Day notice that had been implemented Oct. 10.

Pacific Gas & Electric lifted for Saturday a systemwide Stage 3 high-inventory OFO that had been in effect from Wednesday through Friday.

Citing high water content and external pipe inspection, Columbia Gas said it will take part of Line A-5 out of service Tuesday to install temporary pig launchers and receivers. Meters 636976 and 638167 will be shut in during the outage, which is expected to last until Saturday.

Maintenance that had been scheduled for Oct. 18-19 on Belen (NM) Station #2 turbine was completed during a recent unscheduled outage at the station, El Paso said. Therefore, there will be no reduction of San Juan Crossover capacity on those days.

Transco resumed accepting backhaul nominations Saturday on the Mobile Bay Lateral “up to the quantity scheduled for receipt on the Mobile Bay Lateral with delivery to Transco’s Station 85 pool or markets on Transco’s mainline.” Backhauls on the lateral had been suspended Sept. 30 (see Daily GPI, Oct. 1).

Southern Star Central (formerly Williams) planned to begin fall testing Saturday (Oct. 16) on the Welda storage fields. The pipeline said it would monitor daily injection activity during the test and if operational issues occur, it will issue an immediate notice limiting maximum daily injection quantities (MDIQ) to contractual levels and also limit any due-pipeline imbalance paybacks.
