NGPL reported discovering a gas quality problem at its El Paso-Washita receipt point in Washita County, OK. Effective with Saturday’s gas day, NGPL was not scheduling any transport volumes at the point until further notice.

Citing forecasts of “a significant drop in temperatures” in its service area for Dec. 26-27, East Tennessee Natural Gas said Friday it will implement its Maximum Allowable Delivery (MAD) service at the start of today’s gas day. Should the weather moderate and MAD implementation not be required, ETNG will lift the restriction immediately. No unauthorized overrun charge will be assessed on a balancing party unless its negative imbalance exceeds the greater of 50 dekatherms or 2% of MAD, the pipeline said.

Sonat said repairs have been completed at a facility on its South Section 28 line in Louisiana that was preventing Sonat from making deliveries to Sabine Pipe Line at Henry Hub. The force majeure that was issued for this point on Aug. 31 has been canceled.
