El Paso declared an Unauthorized Overpull Penalty situation late Monday afternoon, saying its Washington Ranch storage facility was experiencing maximum withdrawals. “To insure system integrity, El Paso will place limits on scheduled volumes at interconnects that are underperforming,” the pipeline added. El Paso also said it has not determined how long the Alamo Lake Station’s #2 turbine will be down for unscheduled repairs. The outage reduced capacity of the Havasu Crossover 145 MMcf/d effective with nominations for Cycle 4 Monday and Cycle 2 Tuesday until further notice.

Sonat said OFOs are unlikely through Thursday for either long or short imbalances, but for long imbalances the OFO potential is “too close to call” Friday and “highly likely” Saturday.

After issuing sporadic Overage Alert Day notices during the spring and summer due to low linepack levels, Florida Gas Transmission cautioned shippers Tuesday that it may declare an Underage Alert Day for Wednesday “to ensure that FGT’s linepack does not reach excessively high levels.” Saying it had experienced market-area underburns during the previous week, the pipeline said forecasts indicate more rain and cooler weather throughout Florida this week.
