Sonat reported Wednesday experiencing an unscheduled outage of the Tarrant Compressor Station in Birmingham, AL, due to flooding. No interruption to firm service was expected, but Sonat said it might not be able to accept all nominations for interruptible service (B-1 and IT) on the North System in Zones 2 and 3 until further notice.

Due to low throughput, Tennessee canceled pigging of the Header and East Leg segments of the Blue Water System offshore Louisiana that had previously been scheduled for next Monday.

Florida Gas Transmission extended an Overage Alert Day notice for its market area into at least a third day Thursday, but loosened the negative imbalance tolerance from the 10% in effect Tuesday and Wednesday to 15%.

Saying it has encountered some operational problems with pig runs currently in progress, Texas Eastern extended the project by one day to include Saturday (May 10). All receipts on the 24-inch system between the Longview and Fagus Stations are restricted by the work, along with a majority of the receipts sourced between Joaquin and Longview stations for this Saturday. Normal operations are planned to resume Sunday.

Transco reported experiencing nominations in excess of available capacity for gas received upstream of Station 35 in Harris County, TX, for delivery downstream. Depending on the level of FT requests, the pipeline said it may need to limit secondary firm and interruptible service for gas received upstream and scheduled for delivery downstream of Station 35 effective with Thursday’s flows.
