Southern reported an unscheduled unit outage at Holy Trinity Compressor Station in southeast Alabama, which is the first station on its South Georgia facilities. No impact to FT service was expected, but a 40,000 Dth/d reduction in interruptible transport was likely, as well as a reduction in available peak hour capacity, Southern said.

CenterPoint shippers are no longer under an Operational Alert that began last Tuesday due to unscheduled maintenance in the Perryville Hub area, the pipeline said Friday. The work previously had been expected to last until Saturday (see Daily GPI, Dec. 16).

Transportation Notes

CenterPoint issued a notice of force majeure Tuesday, saying it will begin an estimated two weeks of unscheduled unit maintenance Wednesday at Searcy (AR) Compressor Station on Line J in the North Pooling Area. During this work up to 125,000 Dth/d of deliveries (including to the TGT@Searcy interconnect) and corresponding receipts could be affected. It’s possible that firm shippers with primary delivery points on Line J will not be scheduled during the maintenance period, CenterPoint said. See the bulletin board for a list of receipt points where scheduling could be impacted.

Transportation Notes

Due to unscheduled maintenance at Mississippi River Transmission’s (MRT) Fountain Hill facilities, MRT said it will need to shut them down for a 24-hour period sometime between May 19 and May 21. During this period MRT will be unable to inject into storage at Unionville and may not schedule any volumes that result in a daily long position or accept any makeup of short positions. MRT also may not schedule IT, AOR or secondary firm transportation volumes to storage or allocate secondary firm transportation on a no-notice basis.

Sea Robin Pipeline said Wednesday it had completed unscheduled maintenance and repairs that had begun at the end of March between South Marsh Island 33 and Vermilion 149. Nominations were allowed to resume at three meters required to shut in by the work.

Sea Robin Pipeline said it began unscheduled maintenance and repairs Tuesday from South Marsh Island 33 to Vermilion 149. The work is expected to last six to eight days and requires the shut-in of the South Marsh Island 40, Vermilion 175 and Vermilion 171 meters.

TGT said it reduced capacity Tuesday on the Sharon Carthage Segment in northwest Louisiana and at Texas Eastern (location 2757) to 500,000 MMBtu/d due to unscheduled maintenance at Sharon (LA) Compressor Station. TGT tentatively estimates that the maintenance will be completed by the start of Saturday’s gas day.
