Sea Robin Pipeline said Wednesday it had completed unscheduled maintenance and repairs that had begun at the end of March between South Marsh Island 33 and Vermilion 149. Nominations were allowed to resume at three meters required to shut in by the work.

Sea Robin Pipeline said it began unscheduled maintenance and repairs Tuesday from South Marsh Island 33 to Vermilion 149. The work is expected to last six to eight days and requires the shut-in of the South Marsh Island 40, Vermilion 175 and Vermilion 171 meters.

ExxonMobil Quarterly Profit Tumbles 33%

ExxonMobil Corp. took a half a billion hit to its 4Q2008 earnings because of damage repairs and lower oil and natural gas volumes associated with hurricanes Gustav and Ike. However, the company, whose quarterly profit fell more than at any time in six years, still reported the largest annual profit in U.S. history Friday, with 2008 earnings of $45.22 billion.

Northwest, which began anomaly repairs Tuesday near the Muddy Creek Compressor Station, said primary firm nomination requests through the Muddy Creek South Constraint Point had exceeded the available capacity of 160,000 Dth/d. Therefore it notified shippers of a Declared Deficiency Period that is expected to remain in effect through Friday. Based on a design capacity of 513,000 Dth/d, the Daily Deficiency Volume is 353,000 Dth/d, Northwest said.
