Florida Gas Transmission kept an Overage Alert Day in place through Saturday, then allowed it to expire Sunday.

CIG said Friday it had completed repairs and was canceling a force majeure at Keyes South Compressor Station in the Oklahoma Panhandle sooner than anticipated. The pipeline had said shortly after declaring the force majeure May 28 (see Daily GPI, June 2) following a failure in the station’s system control process that it expected the outage to continue through July 30. Capacity at the Keyes South Constraint was restored Saturday from 200 MMcf/d to 218 MMcf/d.

In an update Sunday on capacities of its expansion section, Gulf South said it had completed maintenance downstream of the Tallulah (LA) Compressor Station and all expansion locations would be available for service beginning with Intraday 1 nominations for Monday’s gas day. The following capacities will be available through this Friday, Gulf South said: Expansion Area 16 from the Carthage Hub, 1,293,000 Dth/d; and Expansion Area 18 from Tallulah, 1,570,000 Dth/d.

NOVA said investigation and repair of a break in its 20-inch diameter Upper Peace River Mainline (see Daily GPI, July 22) are ongoing, but due to access constraints in the area, the work is now estimated to be completed by Aug. 4.

Rockies Express (REX) is accepting bids for firm transportation of 41,000 Dth/d from the Opal Hub area in Wyoming commencing Aug. 1. Initially the capacity is available from Zone 1 to Zone 2 and, pending an approval from the Department of Transportation’s Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration, will become available to associated Zone 3 delivery points. All interested parties must e-mail bids by 10 a.m. CDT Wednesday (July 29) to wrgp@kindermorgan.com, REX said, although it added that the open season may be extended upon one day’s notice, “which will be provided by a follow-up posting.” See the bulletin board for further details.
