Northwest, which began anomaly repairs Tuesday near the Muddy Creek Compressor Station, said primary firm nomination requests through the Muddy Creek South Constraint Point had exceeded the available capacity of 160,000 Dth/d. Therefore it notified shippers of a Declared Deficiency Period that is expected to remain in effect through Friday. Based on a design capacity of 513,000 Dth/d, the Daily Deficiency Volume is 353,000 Dth/d, Northwest said.

Trunkline said it “continues to experience extremely high levels” of the basic sediment and water (BS&W) content at the Patterson Separation Facility in South Louisiana. “Field personnel will be inspecting receipt locations for these specifications and will shut in violators immediately if necessary,” the pipeline said. “Should the elevated levels of BS&W continue, Trunkline may be forced to curtail the volumes of gas flow on the Terrebonne system. Per the condensate agreement, the BS&W content shall not exceed 0.5% by weight of the total injected from any source.”

Southern California Gas said it will continue maintenance at its Aliso Canyon storage facility until Aug. 8. The work, which began in mid-June and is causing the loss of 750 MMcf/d of withdrawal capacity, previously had been expected to end July 31 (see Daily GPI, June 17).

Transwestern extended an outage of its ANR Red interconnect in the Texas Panhandle for a second time by one day to Thursday (see Daily GPI, July 22).
