California’s two giant distributors continued to alternate OFOs. Southern California Gas did not extend a high-linepack OFO beyond Friday, but Pacific Gas & Electric issued a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Saturday. Penalties of $1/Dth would apply for exceeding zero tolerance for positive daily imbalances.

Florida Gas Transmission made it a full work week of OFOs by extending its Overage Alert Day notice that started last Monday through at least Friday. In Friday’s notice, the tolerance for negative daily imbalances was loosened once again from 10% to 15%.

PG&E called a Stage 4 systemwide OFO for gas day Saturday June 9. The recent high inventory customer-specific OFOs have not resulted in improved pipeline system conditions, the utility said. “Rather, we have seen non-targeted customers create significant imbalances.” The OFO had a 7% tolerance and $25/Dth penalties.
