PG&E called a Stage 4 systemwide OFO for gas day Saturday June 9. The recent high inventory customer-specific OFOs have not resulted in improved pipeline system conditions, the utility said. “Rather, we have seen non-targeted customers create significant imbalances.” The OFO had a 7% tolerance and $25/Dth penalties.

PG&E said Kern River and SoCalGas negotiated a displacement agreement that will allow some or all of the gas volumes nominated to PG&E at the 300 MMcf/d Daggett interconnection to flow during Baja path maintenance currently scheduled for June 10 through June 30. PG&E previously had expected all of that capacity to be out of service for 20 days. The displacement agreement allows some or all nominations from Kern to PG&E at Daggett to be processed as usual during the pipeline maintenance. Available displacement volumes depend on daily operating conditions. For more details call PG&E at (800) 343-4743

El Paso said Bondad B turbine will be down for maintenance June 11 and 12, reducing the capacity through Bondad Station by 85 MMcf/d. For more details call El Paso at (719) 520-4706.

El Paso said smart pigging of Line 1600 from Waha to Gresham Station will require reduced flow to achieve the proper travel speed. A reduction of 500 MMcf/d from Waha West was previously announced for June 9. However, an allocation also was required for gas day June 8 as well. The total scheduled volumes from Waha West were 645 MMcf/d on June 8. Total flow was at the normal 750 MMcf/d rate until 4 a.m. CDT, then was reduced to 250 MMcf/d for the remainder of the day, and was expected to continue at that rate through June 9. For operational or scheduling questions, call (719) 520-4706 or Charlie Mathis at (915) 496-3131.

ANR reported that capacity across the Michigan Leg South (which includes volumes flowing through the St. John Compressor station) will be reduced by 125 MMcf/d due to an unexpected compressor outage at Bridgman. The outage is estimated to run through today, June 11.
