Over the weekend Florida Gas Transmission was finally able to endan Overage Alert Day notice for its market area that had been ineffect about a week and a half (see Daily GPI, July 13). However, the pipeline found itnecessary to issue a new OAD notice Monday, effective until furthernotice, with a 15% tolerance for negative daily imbalances.

Pacific Gas & Electric had a systemwide Stage 1high-inventory OFO in effect Wednesday, with penalties of 25cents/dth for positive daily imbalances exceeding a 1% tolerance.The OFO is being reduced to a customer-specific one effectivetoday. As of Wednesday PG&E was projecting that linepack wouldremain slightly above its target operating limit through Friday,then jump to much above its target Saturday.

Pacific Gas & Electric had a systemwide high-inventory OFOin effect Monday but did not extend it through today. The Stage 2order carried penalties of $1/Dth for positive daily imbalancesexceeding a tolerance of 1%.

Florida Gas Transmission still has an Overage Alert Day notice ineffect today until further notice but loosened the tolerance forpositive daily imbalances from its initial 2% (see Daily GPI, May 25) to 15%.

Pacific Gas & Electric issued a customer-specific OFO totake effect today. As of Tuesday morning the utility was projectingabove-target linepack levels through Friday.

After having a customer-specific OFO in effect for Wednesdayonly, Pacific Gas & Electric issued a new customer-specific OFOfor Saturday and was projecting above-target linepack Saturdaythrough today. An unplanned outage prompted Transwestern toallocate San Juan Lateral volumes for the Intraday 1 cycle Friday,affecting 18 points.

Pacific Gas & Electric ended a high-inventory OFO Saturdayafter it had been in effect for three days.

Northern Natural Gas ended Monday a System Overrun Limitationnotice for all market-area zones that had been in effect for nearlytwo weeks (see Daily GPI,Jan. 19).Affiliated pipeline Florida Gas Transmission lifted an Overage AlertDay notice (see Daily GPI, Jan. 26) overthe weekend.

Sonat said an OFO Type 3 will be in effect today until furthernotice for the Birmingham Group, South Main Zone 2, Atlanta Group,South Main Zone 3, East of Wrens, Brunswick Line and Savannah Line.The pipeline also anticipates having to allocate IT in theChattanooga Group.
