Reliant declared force majeure Thursday, saying the #1 unit at its Malvern (AR) Compressor Station will be unavailable for an estimated four to five months due to an unscheduled overhaul. At present the pipeline expects this outage to have “very limited impact to capacity,” but as traditional cooling load increases this summer, it may have to limit IT, Authorized Overrun Service and secondary capacity in the Quadrangle System and on Line AC.

Questar reported that during the initial phase of a smart pigging project on its ML 40 segment in Utah, it identified a pipeline anomaly that must be repaired before the project can continue. As a result, receipt shut-ins between Fidlar Station and Price, UT, originally scheduled for Tuesday through Thursday of this week (see Daily GPI, May 21) have been extended one day to Friday.

Transwestern will run pigs June 4 from the Bloomfield Compressor Station down the San Juan Lateral to the mainline. Lateral capacity will be reduced from 850,000 MMBtu/d to about 235,000 MMBtu/d that day.
