Southern California Gas declared a high-linepack OFO for Saturday with 10% tolerance for positive daily imbalances.

Kern River said Friday it was experiencing high linepack throughout its system and that it was “imperative” that shippers take delivery of their scheduled quantities. It also urged customers to contact their pipeline representatives to schedule due-shipper imbalance payback.

Saying weather forecasts indicated the return of seasonal weather to its service territory, East Tennessee Natural Gas planned to lift a Balancing Alert OFO at the start of Saturday’s gas day. The OFO had been implemented Thursday. In a related note Transco, which had suspended nominations Wednesday at its Cascade Creek interconnect with East Tennessee due to operational conditions, resumed receipts at the interconnect effective with Thursday’s Intraday 1 nomination cycle.

Sonat reported being notified by Duke Energy Field Services that effective Jan. 1, East Texas Gas Systems will no longer be able to make deliveries at Sonat’s Carthage Point in Panola County, TX, from the East Texas Gas Plant.
