A week after changing its imbalance tolerance range to 20% pack and zero draft to combat falling linepack (see Daily GPI, March 23), Westcoast had the normal range of 10% pack and 10% draft in effect again Monday.

Daylight Saving Time becomes effective Sunday at 2 a.m., requiring that clocks be set ahead by one hour. Pipelines are urging shippers to take into account that the April 3 gas day will only be 23 hours long and adjust their nominations accordingly.

Transco said the North Terrebonne Gas Processing Plant in South Louisiana will restore processing levels to 100% effective April 1. Shippers were advised that PTR (plant thermal reduction) nominations should be 100% of the Terrebonne PVR (plant volume reduction) quantities for April listed in a notice posted March 24. In mid-January the plant had announced that it would cut processing to 85% until further notice (see Daily GPI, Jan. 13).

Eunice Station’s B turbine will be down Tuesday and Wednesday for annual Department of Transportation inspections and mechanical inspection, reducing capacity from Eunice to Keystone by 120 MMcf/d, El Paso said Monday.

Repairs have been completed at Olga (LA) Station and Sonat restored capacity to normal on the 26-inch Main Pass Area Line effective with Monday’s intra-day 1 cycle nominations.
