Williams Field Services will be performing annual maintenance today through March 21 on the Opal Plant’s TXP-3 cryogenic processing tower. Total impact is expected to be 350 MMcf/d, but the volume most likely will be less today through Saturday due to work scheduled on the 30-inch line during that period (see below), WFS said. It also could be further reduced based on use of the lean oil plant. Other maintenance is set for today through Saturday at Big Piney Cooper unit #11 and modification of the 30-inch line. Receipts on the 30-inch line into Opal will be zero while the line is shut in and blown down for installation of a new pig launcher and drip line removal. About 209 MMcf/d will be affected. Kern River likely will get zero flow from Opal Wednesday and Thursday while the pipeline ties in a new compressor at Muddy Creek. WFS shippers are encouraged to use Northwest and CIG King during this work. On Thursday Opal receipts from Jonah Field will be zero during a field tie-in.
