Responding to recent rumors of an operational problem with one of the sulfur condensers within its Fort Nelson Gas Plant, Westcoast said the situation does not require a capacity turndown for condenser repairs at this time. “From testing that has been conducted, it appears that the condenser will function as is until [annual plant] turnaround,” which is scheduled for Aug. 27-Sept. 21, according to Westcoast spokesman Murray Bennett.
