El Paso postponed to an indefinite date Guadalupe Stationmaintenance that had been set for today and Wednesday. Wenden Aturbine work began Sunday, one day earlier than previouslyannounced, and will run through Friday, reducing Havasu Crossovercapacity by 100 MMcf/d, the pipeline said.
Citing rececent capacity renegotiations, Williams began takingbids Monday for Firm Storage Service volumes that will becomeavailable Oct. 1. The bidding period runs through July 7. Themaximum quantity available under the FSS-M or FSS-P rate schedulesis 182,127 dekatherms, carrying with it a Maximum Daily WithdrawalQuantity of 5,519 dekatherms. At this time, Williams said, it isonly considering bids at maximum tariff rates and with a minimumterm of one year but no maximum term. The pipeline also asks thateach bid include a term that ends on March 31, regardless of year,to coincide with traditional storage cycles in the Williams tariff.
NOVA returned its tolerance range for daily imbalances to thenormal +10%/-10 % Monday after having tightened it to +2%/-18% forthe weekend (see Daily GPI, June 26).
