Due to forecasts of mild Southeast weather, Southern Natural Gas cited projections of high storage injection requirements during the weekend in announcing that an OFO Type 6 for long imbalances would be in effect on its system Saturday until further notice. Tiered imbalance penalties will be assessed to shippers exceeding allocated deliveries by 2% or more (those with long imbalances of less than 2% or 200 Dth/d will not be penalized).

Southern California Gas issued a high-linepack OFO for Saturday, setting a tolerance of 10% on long imbalances for gas delivered into its system.

Pacific Gas and Electric ended a systemwide high-inventory OFO on its California Gas Transmission system Saturday after it had been in effect for the previous two days.

Rockies Express said the force majeure it declared on Nov. 14 due to a rupture east of the Chandlersville Compressor Station in Muskingom County, OH, remained in effect Friday. However, it expected to complete installation of replacement pipe that day and said investigation of the failure “should be substantially complete by the end of the day…and a return to service plan will be formulated shortly thereafter.” Until further notice nominations through Segment 390 near the Clarington, OH, terminus will not be scheduled.

Gulf South said it had been notified by plant operator Enterprise that the Burns Point Plant in St. Mary Parish, LA, would restart operations Saturday (Nov. 21) “if all other parties’ work is complete.”

ANR reported the resolution of gas quality issues at Ship Shoal 207 offshore Louisiana and said all associated restrictions had been lifted.

From Monday through Wednesday NGPL will upgrade the meter at the Duke Energy Caddo interconnect in Caddo County, OK; the location will be unavailable for nominations during this project.

CIG said it completed the sale of its Natural Buttes facility effective last Tuesday. When it was first announced in late September, CIG had expected to make the sale around Oct. 1 (see Daily GPI, Sept. 25).
