Southern California Gas kept a high-linepack OFO implemented Saturday in effect through Sunday, then lifted it Monday.

Florida Gas Transmission kept an Overage Alert Day that had been issued Monday (June 5) in place through Saturday before ending it Sunday.

After cutting capacity into its storage facilities for the rest of June by half over the weekend (see Daily GPI, June 12), ANR said effective Tuesday until further notice it will be restricting interruptible storage injections. Based on current and projected inventory, ANR said, injection nominations to rate schedules DDS and MBS, along with FSS injection Overrun, will not be accepted. Infield storage transfers are not being restricted. ANR will continue to allow injections into rate schedules FSS and STS during this period provided that the nominated quantity does not exceed firm injection rights. “Due to the significantly high levels of storage inventory,” ANR said, it is “currently reviewing other potential options, including the requirement of ordering out all interruptible gas out of storage.”

Citing “a high rate of unconfirmed transactions” at Uinta Lateral delivery points, CIG declared a Strained Operating Condition effective Saturday (June 10) until further notice for both the Uinta and Parachute Laterals. CIG said it has recently experienced a critical oversupply situation on that portion of its system, resulting in higher than appropriate mainline pressures and problems receiving scheduled quantities of gas from the attached production areas. During the period of the Strained Operating Condition, shippers should anticipate that CIG will request that all transportation transactions on the Uinta and Parachute Laterals be in balance between receipts and deliveries. See the bulletin board for other details. At this time, CIG said, it does not anticipate a need to issue an OFO as long as the market and supply balance on the two laterals can be managed.

Southern Natural Gas announced Monday that it has completed sufficient repairs to facilities subject to a force majeure upstream of Toca (LA) Compressor Station that it has been able to add the Bakers Bay R/S and Main Pass 305 receipt points to a list of upstream points previously approved for flow.

NOVA tried to discourage packing of its system by changing the imbalance tolerance range to 0/-4 Sunday morning, but returned it to the normal +4/-4 range effective with the start of Monday’s gas day.

Gulfstream Natural Gas canceled Monday morning an operations advisory it had issued Friday (see Daily GPI, June 12).
