Transwestern declared an OFO for the second day in a row Thursday, saying allocations were being made at the GulfTerra Ward and GulfTerra Waha Pecos delivery points. “In order to preserve the safe and efficient operation of the pipeline…Transwestern has rescheduled volumes to the points to more closely match actual flow rates,” a bulletin board posting said. According to a spokesman, the volumes were reduced by an unspecified amount.

A day after ending an Overage Alert Day notice for its Florida market area, Florida Gas Transmission issued a new notice Thursday. This time the tolerance for negative daily imbalances was set at 25%.

Pacific Gas & Electric lifted for Friday a systemwide high-inventory OFO that had been in effect for the previous two days.

Iroquois reported that due to a continued outage at its Dover Compressor Station, as of Thursday it was no longer providing IT service with receipt points upstream of the Athens Compressor Station and deliveries downstream of Athens. It also was barring PAL (Park and Loan) loans greater than 250 Dth/d downstream of Athens.

Noting Thursday that low linepack conditions had spread to its entire system, Kern River urged customer payback of negative imbalances.

Citing increased ambient soil and air temperatures, NOVA said it requires a decrease in Alberta target linepack and thus seeks to make a firm sale of 300,000 gigajoules. Unconditional tenders for all or some of the decrease may be submitted through 1 p.m. MDT June 15. The index-based sale, through inventory transfer, will be made over a period of up to 21 days starting on or around June 27.
