ANR said it expects to complete repairs to Custer Compressor Station in southwest Oklahoma by July 5. The station’s buildings and compression equipment suffered damage on the night of May 10 from a nearby pipe rupture and has been shut down since then (see Daily GPI, May 12). An investigation is ongoing and it still has not been determined which pipeline in the area exploded, a spokesman said Friday. ANR is not scheduling Firm Secondary and IT services in the area and along the Southwest Mainline for the duration of the repair period.

Westcoast reported experiencing a loss of power at the McMahon Gas Plant about 9 p.m. Pacific time Thursday night. The plant was at zero throughput until about 12:30 a.m. Friday when it began circulating gas again and slowly came back to full flows at 4:30 a.m. Westcoast said it is investigating the cause of this incident, but operations have stabilized and it does not anticipate any problems going forward.

CIG plans to sell up to 900,000 dekatherms from three storage fields in Colorado and is soliciting fixed-price bids through May 26. “This sale is necessary to properly manage system storage and is the result of thermal enrichment in certain storage fields,” the pipeline said. “Over time this enrichment may adversely limit the amount of available storage capacity for customers.” CIG will consider selling the gas as an in-place storage transfer or at the outlet of each field for buyer transport. Buyers can take delivery anytime between June 1 and Oct. 31. See the bulletin board for details, or call Steve Newell at (719) 520-4341 or Greg Ruben at -4870 for more information.
