MRT will shut down its Perryville Compressor Station in northwest Louisiana Tuesday for about three days of unscheduled maintenance. During that time MRT will be able to schedule only 200,000 Dth/d of Primary Firm delivery capacity to the Perryville Hub. Affiliated pipeline CenterPoint said its Perryville Hub capacity will be limited to Primary Firm delivery obligations only while the work is going on, and these obligations will require shippers to move to their primary delivery points. No Wheeling, IT and Secondary movement (including Intra-hub movement) will be allowed, Centerpoint said. It also will set a tolerance of zero for long imbalances on a daily basis during the Perryville Hub maintenance. “Such long imbalances can exacerbate any operational problems that might arise and may result in the future assessment of Excess Contract Quantities penalties,” CenterPoint said.

Southern Star Central (SSC) said the St. Francis Compressor Station will be unavailable from Sunday through next Friday due to block repair, limiting station capacity to 170 MMcf/d and possible affecting upstream receipts on line segments 490/491. The pipeline will reduce St. Francis service to primary only Saturday. SSC also will perform annual maintenance Tuesday through Thursday of next week During this outage capacity through Riner Compressor Station will be limited to 155 MMcf/d and receipts on line segment 491 could be affected.

Based on results from MRT‘s smart pigging of Main Line No. 2 (ML2) between the Fountain Hill and Perryville compressor stations last month, from Saturday through Monday and from May 27 until further notice, the pipeline will take one or more sections of ML2 out of service to perform necessary inspections and/or repairs. MRT expects to reduce firm delivery capacity to the Perryville Hub by 70,000 Dth/d during these periods.
