Gulf South declared force majeure conditions Tuesday when it began unscheduled maintenance on its Index 381-23 segment that will last until further notice. The pipeline said the work will affect its abilities to make deliveries at the Vicksburg, MS citygate.

Trunkline LNG took a vaporizer at its regasification terminal near Lake Charles, LA out of service Tuesday for unscheduled repairs. During the outage, which is expected to end by Jan. 18, sendout from the facility will be reduced to 850 MMcf/d.

An unscheduled outage of Units 315 and 317 at Panhandle Eastern‘s Liberal (KS) Station has been extended. Unit 317 is expected to be back in service Jan. 26, 2005, while Unit 315 will remain out of service through Feb. 15. Operational capacity through Liberal is currently limited to 800,000 Dth/d. And a reduction of capacity through its BIS09 segment to 110 MMcf/d that began Jan. 4 due to the lack of available compression at Cashion (OK) Station (see Daily GPI, Jan. 5) is now expected to remain in effect until May 31, Panhandle Eastern said.

Southern Star Central said service has become available at its new interconnect with Cheyenne Plains Gas Pipeline. The receipt point is named Sand Dune Cheyenne Plains and has maximum design capacity of 425,000 Dth/d, Southern Star said.
