An OFO Type 3 for eight delivery groups on the Sonat system lasted only one day. Dominion Transmission (DTI) issued, effective at 1 p.m. EST Thursday until further notice, an OFO Advisory for two groups of customers. The pipeline said it had determined, based upon forecasted weather, that hourly quantities delivered to affected customers “may be in excess of the quantities that DTI can deliver without jeopardizing its ability to provide firm services to other customers.” Six utilities (Corning Natural Gas, New York State Electric and Gas, Rochester Gas & Electric, Niagara Mohawk, Fillmore Gas and National Fuel Gas Distribution) downstream of the Boom and Stateline facilities in the northern portion of DTI’s operating area were named in one advisory. Meters for Baltimore Gas & Electric, Washington Gas Light, Virginia Natural Gas, Virginia Power and the City of Richmond on DTI’s PL-1 system in the southern portion of its operating area were listed in the other advisory. See the bulletin board for details of actions required of affected customers.
