“It is imperative that operators take delivery of quantities that are scheduled immediately,” Kern River said in a Monday bulletin board notice noting that the pipeline was “operating with extremely high linepack due to excessive banking over the weekend.” It also encouraged the scheduling of due-customer imbalance paybacks on an as-available basis.

Affiliated pipelines Texas Eastern and Algonquin also were coping with extra linepack and anticipated periods of light demand due to moderate weather forecasts for their market areas. As of Monday until further notice, neither was accepting nominations for due-pipeline imbalance makeups. Due-shipper makeup gas was allowed by both.

Both outages will begin at the same time, but the ending dates will be different. Outage #1 will occur Nov. 13-14 between Mileposts 300 and 432. It will impact 19 active points and require that all receipts upstream of Milepost 300 must exit the system upstream of that milepost. The first major receipt point into FGT’s system available for delivery to the Florida market on the Nov. 13-14 gas days will be Trunkline Manchester. Outage #2 is set for Nov. 13-18 from Milepost 300 to Milepost 308 and will impact seven points. The first major receipt point available for Nov. 15-18 deliveries to the Florida market will be NGPL Jefferson.
