The No. 1 natural gas producer in Canada, Tourmaline Oil Corp., said it is diversifying its marketing portfolio to fetch the “best pricing possible” for all of its hydrocarbon streams, including an agreement with Cheniere Energy Inc. to participate in the Gulf Coast liquefied natural gas (LNG) export market.

The Calgary-based producer, whose focus is in the gassy Montney Shale, Alberta Deep Basin and in Peace River, recently issued its fourth quarter and full-year 2021 results. The company reports in Canadian dollars (C$1.00/U.S. 79 cents).
