Saying linepack had stabilized, El Paso canceled an Unauthorized Overpull Penalty alert Wednesday, one day after it had gone into effect. The pipeline also said it will take Line 1100 between the Eunice and Pecos River stations down for repairs June 26. Six interconnects will be unable to deliver into El Paso that day, and the total flow of gas through Eunice Station to the South Mainline will be limited to 245 MMcf/d. Plants upstream of Eunice and in the Monument area will compete for space with San Juan and Anadarko gas moving south from Plains Station.

Reporting that its Washington Ranch Storage Field was experiencing maximum withdrawals, El Paso declared an Unauthorized Overpull Penalty situation Tuesday. It urged shippers to review their supply/demand balances and the performance of their suppliers to insure that sufficient gas is delivered to El Paso to cover the gas being taken off-system. The pipeline said it will limit scheduled volumes at underperforming interconnects.

Overpulls on the South Mainline prompted El Paso topostpone the annual maintenance shutdown of its Keystone MainlineStation (Winkler County, TX), which had previously been scheduledto start today in conjunction with smart pigging of the downstreamLine 1103, until Saturday. The work will last through Monday andcause the shut-in of 400 MMcf/d at 37 receipt points in thevicinity.
