El Paso estimates one of the two compressor units at its Caprock(NM) Station will return to service by April 16, raising San JuanCrossover capacity to 600 MMcf/d from its current 580 MMcf/d. Itappears the other unit will remain unavailable until mid-May, thepipeline said.

Transportation Note

Florida Gas Transmission reported completion of lowering its30-inch mainline at Station 7.5 in South Louisiana ahead ofschedule and has commenced lowering the 24-inch mainline. This workis expected to limit St. Landry volumes to 910 MMcf/d-65 MMcf/dbelow maximum-through April 10.

El Paso’s Caprock (NM) Station is down for emergency maintenancethat began Tuesday and will last at least through March 31. Afterthat point one of the two compressor units should be available, thepipeline said. San Juan Crossover capacity is being limited toabout 550 MMcf/d. El Paso encouraged shippers to use theTranswestern interconnect at Window Rock (AZ) to maximize flowsfrom San Juan Basin.

Transwestern said its La Plata compressor station will be downthrough Thursday, March 5, for construction. There will be zerovolumes flowing from the Ignacio area to the Blanco Hub.Interconnects affected are NWPL-La Plata, WFS Ignacio Plant, andAmoco Florida River Plant. Capacity from the Blanco Hub to Thoreauwill remain at 800,000 MMcf/d. The same scenario also will applyMarch 28 through 31, Transwestern said.
