Transwestern said its La Plata compressor station will be downthrough Thursday, March 5, for construction. There will be zerovolumes flowing from the Ignacio area to the Blanco Hub.Interconnects affected are NWPL-La Plata, WFS Ignacio Plant, andAmoco Florida River Plant. Capacity from the Blanco Hub to Thoreauwill remain at 800,000 MMcf/d. The same scenario also will applyMarch 28 through 31, Transwestern said.

Enova International and Enron Mexico are the two U.S. companiesamong the 12 who have bought the bid package for Mexico City gasdistribution permits in the Federal District and theCuautitlan-Texcoco Valley. April 16, bidders will indicate thecompanies with which they will form strategic alliances orconsortia, and technical bids will be opened. Economic bids will beopened June 30. Other countries represented by companies buying thebid package are Mexico, Spain, Japan, France, Chile, Canada, andArgentina.
