Algonquin Gas Transmission said its interconnect with Tennessee Gas Pipeline at Mahwah (Meter station 00201) for gas day Wednesday has been restricted and sealed to capacity. No increases in receipts to Mahwah will be accepted. Customers are advised that capacity may become available as the nomination and confirmation process continues throughout the day.

Due to unplanned maintenance on the 20-inch diameter Peace River Mainline, NOVA said it was taking all meter stations in the Upper Peace River Mainline Area to zero at noon MST last Friday until further notice. The work is expected to be completed by Dec. 8.

Trunkline Gas Co. LLC said Monday that there will be an outage at the Transco Ragley Interconnect (Location #80277) for meter maintenance until further notice. Nominations at this location will be limited to 440 MMcf/d.

Transportation Notes

Tennessee reported identifying a leak on the North Odem 3A-100 lateral between Main Line Valve 3 and Station 9 near Odem, TX. The Morgan meter was required to shut in. Tennessee allowed shipper nominations there to remain in place for Friday’s gas day, but said nominations were being taken to zero in the Timely cycle for Saturday until further notice.

Transportation Notes

CIG reported an outage at its compression facility serving deliveries to Cheyenne Plains Gas Pipeline at the Red Cloud Meter, which reduced the interconnnect’s available operating capacity from 255 MMcf/d to 170 MMcf/d effective with the Timely scheduling cycle for Wednesday’s gas day. Based on current repair projections, CIG anticipates that the compression will be back in service on June 13, when it plans to schedule full Red Cloud capacity for the June 14 gas day.

Cheniere Energy Inc. said one of its subsidiaries has entered into a short-term time charter agreement on the Galeomma, a 126,000 cubic-meter liquefied natural gas (LNG) vessel, from Shell Western LNG BV. The time charter is currently expected to commence in the fourth quarter. The vessel is expected to be utilized primarily for Cheniere to import LNG into the United States, and Cheniere anticipates making the vessel available for Sabine Pass LNG LP, its approximately 92% owned subsidiary, to commission its LNG receiving terminal currently being constructed. “Sabine Pass LNG LP is scheduled to commence commissioning its LNG receiving terminal during February 2008 and the Galeomma will be available to support such activities,” said Jean Abiteboul, executive director of Cheniere LNG International. “With the chartering of this vessel and the expected delivery to its affiliate, J&S Cheniere SA, of two additional vessels currently scheduled for December 2007 and March 2008, a total of three vessels will be available for the respective LNG transportation activities of Cheniere and J&S Cheniere.”

Canaport Adding Third Tank to LNG Terminal

Canaport LNG LP, the partnership of Repsol YPF and Irving Oil, plans to construct a third 160,000 cubic meter liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage tank alongside its two existing tanks in St. John, NB, the company said Thursday.
