Tennessee reported identifying a leak on the North Odem 3A-100 lateral between Main Line Valve 3 and Station 9 near Odem, TX. The Morgan meter was required to shut in. Tennessee allowed shipper nominations there to remain in place for Friday’s gas day, but said nominations were being taken to zero in the Timely cycle for Saturday until further notice.

ANR cleared more offshore locations for flow Friday, but said liquids from them will not be accepted until further notice. All points upstream of Grand Chenier Compressor Station, includes volumes coming from HIOS at West Cameron 167, are unavailable until further notice, and the Cameron Meadows Lateral Segment (SE 1D) in southwest Louisiana are still shut in, ANR said.

El Paso ended Friday a warning of the potential for a Strained Operating Condition being declared because of excess drafting of its system. Customer response was sufficient to increase linepack to acceptable levels, El Paso said.

Gas Transmission Northwest said it discovered internal damage to the gas-fired generator during a routine boroscope examination of the Station 4 A unit. Effective Thursday until further notice, Gas Transmission Northwest removed the unit from service for repairs and said its best efforts receipt capability at Kingsgate was limited to 2,230 MMcf/d.

Rockies Express (REX) said the line section on which it commenced a hydrostatic test project Sept. 3 passed the test and is now being dewatered. Once that is complete, REX will begin drying the line. The pipeline added that it has also been performing other maintenance on this section while it has been out of service and has identified additional maintenance requirements there. All identified work remains on track for completion on or about Sept. 26 as scheduled, REX said, but there is always unqualified certainty given factors that are difficult to predict.
