Algonquin lifted Tuesday a Critical Notice posted Sunday that limited negative daily imbalances to a 2% tolerance. on March 2, 2003. The pipeline’s only restriction remaining in effect for Wednesday is that no due-shipper makeup gas is available anywhere on its system.

Florida Gas Transmission initiated a new Overage Alert Day notice Thursday with 15% tolerance for negative daily imbalances. Noting that forecasts for its market area indicated below freezing temperatures from the Panhandle to central Florida through Friday, FGT said it expects to tighten the tolerance for Friday’s gas day to 5% or lower. An update will be posted around 8 a.m. EST Friday, the pipeline said.

Florida Gas Transmission tightened the tolerance for negative daily imbalances from 15% to 10% Thursday in its Overage Alert Day notice. The notice began Monday. In addition, FGT reported “experiencing decreased supplies at several major interconnects due to the colder than normal temperatures. There is a potential for supply reductions due to freeze-offs at the wellheads.” It urged customers to contact their suppliers for updated information on production-area receipts, and said it “will follow allocation procedures that maximize supply on its system and assure actual flows match scheduled volumes.”
