Pacific Gas & Electric declared a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Saturday. Penalties are $1/Dth for positive imbalances exceeding a 7% tolerance.

Northwest said it expects a Declared Deficiency Period between mileposts 240 and 247 near Grand Junction, CO for Wednesday’s gas day. The mainline will be out of service for about 18 hours that day in order to complete several cutouts from milepost 240 to milepost 247. There will be no flow through this section, and nominations through it for Wednesday must net to zero.

Sonat said that due to material delays, the original section of piping that was removed from service June 18 upstream of Franklinton Compressor Station is now projected to be back in service around Sept. 6. Capacity in the upstream South Louisiana supply area will remain reduced until then. A couple of weeks earlier the pipeline had expected to finish the work in the last week of August (see Daily GPI, Aug. 19).
