El Paso declared force majeure after Navajo Station’s 1C unit suffered a failure of the oil cooling water fan gearbox over the weekend. Added to previously scheduled work on Leupp Station’s 8A unit and Williams Station’s 5B unit that was reducing North Mainline capacity by 30 MMcf/d, the Navajo Station situation increased the reduction to 70 MMcf/d until further notice. However, based on current scheduled volumes on the North Mainline, El Paso did not expect any effect on markets.
