Williams‘ gas pipeline unit has named Allison G. Bridges senior vice president of strategic marketing and James C. Moore senior vice president of group planning and development. Both will report to Cuba Wadlington Jr., Williams’ executive vice president and president and CEO of Williams Gas Pipeline. As senior vice president of strategic marketing, Williams said Bridges will continue to have responsibility for customer relations and business development for national accounts, service delivery and e-business initiatives for Williams’ gas pipeline unit. Bridges most recently served as vice president of strategic marketing. As senior vice president of group planning and development, Moore will continue to have responsibility for acquisitions and strategic planning for Williams’ gas pipeline unit. Over the past 24 years, he has held various positions of increasing responsibility, first at Transco and later Williams, in areas including accounting, gas transportation, gas analysis and business development, the company said.

DukeSolutions announced Wednesday that William R. Doucette has joined the business unit as vice president of sales and marketing. The company said Doucette will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities throughout North America. Reporting to Doucette will be all vertical market sales groups and the company’s marketing and sales support groups. Prior to DukeSolutions, Doucette held positions with PG&E Energy Services, PennUnion Energy Services, AT&T Communications, British Telecom and Contel Corp. DukeSolutions — a wholly owned subsidiary of Duke Energy — applies energy initiatives to solve complex business and operations issues for industrial, commercial and institutional customers.

Constellation Energy Group today announced that Judy Pensabene has been promoted to vice president and assistant to the CEO, reporting to Chairman and CEO Christian H. Poindexter. Pensabene joined the company in 1995 as director of federal affairs. Prior to joining Constellation, Pensabene served as counsel on the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources where she was responsible for electricity, nuclear, environmental, research and development, and technology transfer issues. To fill her vacated role, the company also reported that David Gilbert is being promoted to director of federal affairs and will continue to report to Pensabene. Prior to joining the company, Gilbert was the director of environmental and public affairs for the California Independent Petroleum Association (CIPA). Constellation Energy Group recently announced that it intends to separate its wholesale merchant energy and retail energy businesses into two stand-alone, publicly traded companies as soon as all required approvals have been obtained. The company said the separation is expected to occur during the last quarter of this year.

Denver-based Forest Oil Corp. has elected H. Craig Clark as president and COO. He will report to Robert S. Boswell, chairman and CEO. Clark, formerly vice president-U.S. operations with Apache Corp., will be responsible for Forest’s worldwide operations effective immediately. The Texas A&M University engineering graduate has served in various exploration, production and marketing capacities with Apache since 1989. Forest’s principal reserves and producing properties are located in the Gulf of Mexico, Louisiana, Texas and Alaska, and in Alberta and the Northwest Territories.

The board of directors of Ameren Corp. reported on Wednesday that they have elected Warner L. Baxter, senior vice president, finance, replacing Donald E. Brandt. The company said Brandt chose to resign from his position to focus on providing consulting services within the energy field. He will continue as a consultant to the company. Baxter will also serve as CFO of AmerenUE — the Missouri-based utility company, of AmerenCIPS — Ameren’s Illinois-based utility company, and Ameren Services, which houses the corporation’s support services. At the present time, Baxter will retain his existing responsibilities as controller. With assets of $10 billion, Ameren serves 1.5 million electric customers and 300,000 natural gas customers in a 44,500-square-mile area of Missouri and Illinois.

Lafayette, LA-based PetroQuest Energy Inc. said it has appointed Ralph J. Daigle as executive vice president. Daigle previously served as senior vice president-exploration for the company since its merger with American Explorer LLC in September 1998. Daigle is responsible for management of the Geological and Geophysical Department of the company. The company also appointed Dalton F. Smith III to the position of senior vice president-business development & land. Smith most recently served the company as vice president-business development & land. His primary responsibilities will continue to include identification and pursuit of new exploration ventures and property acquisitions, the development and maintenance of key industry relationships, and oversight of the Company’s land management activities. In addition, PetroQuest Energy appointed Stephen H. Green as vice president-exploration. Green has served as business development manager since joining the company in September 1999. His responsibilities will include directing the company’s exploration efforts both onshore and offshore Gulf of Mexico. PetroQuest Energy, Inc. is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company primarily focused on growing its reserves through drilling high-potential exploration prospects along the coast of and in the Gulf of Mexico.
