Colorado Bill to Study Drilling Health Impacts Advances

Despite industry opposition, a proposal (HB 1297) to have the state study the possible health impacts from oil/natural gas development is going to the Colorado state Senate for consideration after passing in the House of Representatives by a 38-26 vote Thursday. It will be assigned to a committee for initial review in the Senate.

PG&E Pleads Not Guilty to Pipe Criminal Charges

Pacific Gas and Electric Co. (PG&E) pleaded not guilty Monday to 12 federal criminal charges stemming for its actions leading up to the 2010 natural gas transmission pipeline explosion that killed eight people and injured scores more in San Bruno, about 10 miles south of San Francisco.
