Saying daily demand exceeds its capacity, Southern issued Wednesday an OFO Type 3 Level 2 allocating deliveries at 16 groups on its system.

Due to forecasts of lower-than-normal system-weighted temperatures, Northern Natural Gas declared a System Overrun Limitation (SOL) for all market area zones (ABC, D and EF) effective Thursday. If the colder temperatures persist into Friday, there is a high likelihood of an SOL for that gas day also, the pipeline said.

After ending last Sunday a cold weather System Protection Warning (SPW) that had been implemented on the previous Thursday, MRT issued a new one effective Thursday until further notice. See the bulletin board for details on SPW conditions.

Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) ended a Cold Weather Alert on its California Gas Transmission system Tuesday, the same day it had implemented the alert. “Warming temperatures are trending and all areas are projected to be above our Cold Winter Day (CWD) criteria,” PG&E said.
