Transwestern said Wednesday it was experiencing problems with the control valve and meter at the TransColorado interconnect on Transwestern’s San Juan Lateral. Transwestern allocated the point for Wednesday’s Intraday Cycles 1-3 and said shippers should monitor its Internet site for updates.

Tennessee reported being informed by Dynegy Midstream Services, operator of the Yscloskey Gas Processing Plant located at Tennessee’s Main Line Valve 529 in southeast Louisiana, that the plant has experienced mechanical failure and is operating at limited processing capabilities. “The current best case estimate for the plant to return to full operation is sometime tomorrow [Thursday],” the pipeline said Wednesday. Tennessee will monitor gas quality on the 500 Line downstream of Yscloskey to minimize the impact to delivery points. It said it may have to limit the amount of gas received on the 500 Line that exceeds a hydrocarbon dew point of 20 degrees Fahrenheit, possibly for Friday’s gas day. PTR nominations for delivery to the Yscloskey Plant during this time period must be adjusted to reflect the plant’s limited processing, Tennessee said.

Maritimes & Northeast clarified Wednesday its posting about an April 4-5 mainline outage (see Daily GPI, March 26). Deliveries to Tennessee at Dracut, MA will still be cut to zero, M&N said, but the alternative for shipping gas to Tennessee at Haverhill, MA will be through Portland Natural Gas Transmission System. Naturally shippers must hold a contract for PNGTS capacity to do this. PNGTS has posted on its bulletin board that shippers having the Dracut (30001) interconnect as a primary delivery point will also have the Haverhill (30002) interconnect as a primary delivery point. Haverhill will be an alternate delivery point for all other PNGTS shippers. Deliveries to all other points on the M&N system will not be affected.

ANR will begin replacing pipe next month along its Michigan Leg South segment near its St. John Compressor Station in Indiana. This will reduce westard capacity through St. John by up to 343 MMcf/d April 21-May 28 and up to 200 MMcf/d May 29-June 20. ANR also plans engine maintenance at several located in the Southeast Southern Fuel Segment (ML-2), which will reduce total Southeast Mainline capacity by 237 MMcf/d April 1-20, by 262 MMcf/d April 21-27, by 275 MMcf/d April 28-May 12, and by 125 MMcf/d May 13-June 2. Based on current nominations, it is anticipated that the reductions in both case may cause curtailment of IT and Firm Secondary nominations.

Questar has scheduled line work on its JL 88 segment near the Mulligan 4 (MAP 29) receipt point for May 13. Seven receipt points will be shut in by the work. Affected producers should be offline by 7 a.m. that day and will be contacted by Questar’s Gas Control about when to come back online.
