Gulf South said Monday it was beginning unscheduled maintenance on the Bistineau Compressor Station’s Unit # 1 that is expected to last about five days. In order to assure that gas received on its Terrebonne System offshore Louisiana meets quality specifications, Trunkline said it has made conditioning arrangements with processing plant operator Enterprise to be implemented when it is not economical for the plant to process. Dehydration and conditioning charges will be assessed during January, Trunkline told Terrebonne shippers. Enterprise shut down its Toca 2 plant last month due to bad processing economics (see Daily GPI, Dec. 12, 2002).
