Pacific Gas & Electric declared a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Saturday. It carried penalties of $1/Dth along with a relatively lenient 7% tolerance for positive daily imbalances.

Effective Saturday, MRT lifted the System Protection Warning that had gone into effect Tuesday (see Daily GPI, Dec. 24).

Cold and snow has hindered construction activities associated with the Can East Project expansion of the Leidy Delivery Meter, Tennessee said. It now anticipates that this meter will return to service in late February 2003. Upon completion, the Can East Project will provide 130,000 Dth/d of capacity to Leidy.

Gulf South began unscheduled maintenance Friday on the #3 unit at Hall Summit Compressor Station. The work, which is expected to continue through Jan. 13, could affect capacity out of East Texas by as much as 50 MMcf/d, the pipeline said.

Tennessee clarified that in conjunction with its planned Jan. 14-20 repairs to piping on the Bay Marchand 5 platform (see Daily GPI, Dec. 24), the suspension of physical flow at seven upstream meters will actually begin on Jan. 13.
