One day after lifting an Overage Alert Day notice that had been in place for more than two weeks, Florida Gas Transmission reinstated the notice Tuesday with tight 5% tolerance for negative daily imbalances.

An overhaul of Navajo Station’s 1D turbine, which began Tuesday instead of the previously scheduled Sept. 15, will require more downtime than was posted in the September preliminary notice of maintenance, El Paso said. The overhaul will last through Oct. 4 and will cause these initial reductions of North Mainline capacity: 50 MMcf/d through Thursday; 150 MMcf/d Friday (combined with Line 1200 pigging); and 45 MMcf/d Saturday. A major three-day Transco outage is scheduled for next month. The pipeline will conduct regular maintenance of its onshore slug catcher near Bayou Black Oct. 9-11. During this period, all receipts upstream of Station 62 will be shut in, impacting about 1 Bcf/d at receipt points on the Southeast Louisiana Lateral. Shippers should plan to re-source any supplies originating on the lateral during this outage. Transco will advise customers as soon as the maintenance is completed and gas flow from this area can resume.

Enron Canada is soliciting bids for permanent assignment of various transportation contracts that it holds on TransCanada‘s mainline and on the Alberta (NOVA) and British Columbia systems.
