The Enterprise-operated Toca I Processing Plant work has been completed and the southeast Louisiana plant is back online, Sonat reported Sunday. As a result, the hydrocarbon dew point limitation and the Type 5 OFO implemented Aug. 1 in conjunction with the Toca outage (see Daily GPI, Aug. 3) were lifted immediately.

Due to a planned Aug. 17-30 maintenance outage of CIG‘s Natural Buttes Facility, Northwest said Friday it is unlikely that gas flowing to Northwest’s Sand Springs receipt point will be able to meet tariff-set quality specifications. Northwest said it has agreed to blend as much of the gas as possible, but the small quantity of mainline gas currently flowing past Sand Springs “severely limits blending capability.” Thus, receipt volumes at Sand Springs will be limited to Northwest’s blending capability during the Natural Buttes outage, the pipeline said. In a Monday response, CIG said it will shut in Sand Springs along with Natural Buttes from Aug.17 through Aug. 31.

TGT reported that a recent binding open season for expansion of its storage field in Midland, KY, resulted in a sufficient level of firm commitments to support the expansion. In a July 7 FERC filing [CP04-373-000], the pipeline sought authorization to provide additional withdrawal capability of 82,000 MMBtu/d and seasonal storage capacity of 8.2 million dekatherms by installing compression and related piping and facilities at the field. A Nov. 1, 2005 in-service date was requested for the project. But based on discussions with several parties, it appears that continued market interest exists for even more capacity, TGT said. Thus it is holding a nonbinding open season through Oct. 1 to solicit expressions of interest for additional No-Notice Service (NNS) and/or Firm Storage Service (FSS). If sufficient interest exists, TGT will propose a second expansion to become effective Nov. 1, 2006. See the bulletin board for details.
