Pacific Gas & Electric declared a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Wednesday with $1/Dth penalties for exceeding a zero tolerance for positive daily imbalances.

Florida Gas Transmission, which had reinstated an Overage Alert Day notice Monday after lifting a long-running one Sunday, had the notice out of action again Tuesday. However, the pipeline continued to warn of the potential for a new OAD to preserve linepack because of warmer weather in Florida.

Southward flows on Maricopa Line 1203 have been reduced due to lower demand in the Phoenix area, El Paso said. Therefore, the line’s capacity will be reduced to 125 MMcf/d effective with Wednesday’s Cycle 1 nominations until further notice.

Columbia Gas said mechanical difficulties at Flat Top Compressor Station will result in zero non-firm receipt capacity in Market Area 17 beginning Wednesday until further notice. The action affects seven receipt points. Additionally, Appalachian production on Lines SM-123, SM-116 and KA between Huff Creek and Flat Top Compressor Stations will also be affected.

Since providing notice June 23 of unscheduled maintenance at Station 35 north of Houston, Transco said it has been experiencing nominations in excess of available capacity for gas received upstream for delivery downstream of the station. Effective Wednesday until further notice Transco will limit the total scheduled upstream receipts for downstream delivery 525,000 Dth/d and will not allow receipt make-up (due pipeline) nominations upstream of Station 35.
