With linepack building as recent record-high temperatures in California ease, Pacific Gas & Electric issued a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Thursday. The tolerance for positive daily imbalances is zero, and penalties are $1/Dth.

Tennessee completed work at the Johnson Bayou Separation and Dehydration Plant in the southwest corner of Louisiana (see Daily GPI, March 19) and lifted a service restriction at upstream meters effective with Wednesday’s Cycle 1 nominations.

Transco will take Station 35 north of Houston out of service for maintenance for about seven days beginning April 5. It will limit quantities received upstream for delivery downstream of the station to 550,000 Dth/d during the work.

Tennessee is accepting bids through 4 p.m. CST Friday for interruptible third-party storage to be used for what it stressed are “potential” temporary balancing requirements over the next six months.
