Pacific Gas & Electric declared a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Thursday. Penalties are $1/Dth for positive daily imbalances exceeding a tolerance of 7%.

Due to relocation of Route 119 by the state Department of Transportation, Columbia Gas will take part of Line KA in Pike County, KY, out of service for about three days scheduled to begin March 23. During this outage, firm contracts at six primary receipt points in the area will be allowed to flow up to 64% of their Maximum Daily Quantity (MDQ). All interruptible production will be shut in. In addition, receipt point shifts within the affected area will not be allowed.

CenterPoint began unscheduled repairs Monday on a unit at the Custer (OK) Compressor Station that are expected to continue through Friday. The work requires a capacity limit of 115,000 Dth/d on Line 2.

Kern River is taking bids through noon MST April 15 for 90,000 Dth/d of KRF-1 firm incremental 2003 Expansion Project capacity that has become available as a result of a contract being terminated in a bankruptcy proceeding. The capacity, available beginning in May, has Opal, WY as the primary receipt point, and SoCalGas-Wheeler Ridge (12,897 Dth/d) and PG&E-Daggett (77,103 Dth/d) as the primary delivery points.
