Great Lakes Gas Transmission experienced a rupture Friday morning on one of its dual pipelines downstream of the Crystal Falls (MI) Compressor Station. Gas flow on the parallel line was shut in immediately but restored that afternoon. Repair of the ruptured line is under way, Great Lakes said Monday. It continues to implement operational arrangements with interconnecting upstream and downstream pipelines in order to maintain firm delivery commitments.

Pacific Gas & Electric issued a systemwide Stage 2 low-inventory OFO for today. It had zero tolerance for negative imbalances and carried penalties of $1/Dth.

El Paso‘s Line 1208 near Flagstaff Station will be down today for replacement of Valve 30 and associated piping. In addition, Dilkon Station’s 1A unit will be down to install an accessory drive coupling. These projects will coincide with a planned outage at the El Paso Field Services-operated Chaco Plant. As a result, North Mainline capacity will be reduced by 200 MMcf/d effective with Cycle 1 today and full capacity should be restored on Wednesday’s Cycle 1. El Paso also said Pecos River Station’s #2 turbine went down for unscheuled maintenance, reducing station capacity by 60 MMcf/d Monday until further notice.
